WHO IS RECFISHING RESEARCH?
Recfishing Research is a national Subprogram for the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation, established to guide investment in national Research, Development and Extension (RDE) addressing key priorities of the recreational fishing community. Importantly, Recfishing Research also plays an important role in communicating research results to the recreational fishing community.
Recfishing Research’s steering committee is made up of 10 individuals from the recreational fishing community around Australia who offer expertise in social and biological sciences, economics, advocacy, fisheries management, and R&D project management.
