National Strategy For The Survival Of Released Line-Caught Fish - Tropical Reef Species

 

Whilst for many fish species more than half of those caught by recreational anglers are released, there is growing concern regarding how many of these survive, particularly for reef associated species which often experience barotrauma, which may reduce post-release survival. This study investigates post release survival of tropical reef species, and considers options to maximise survival.
