Review of cold water pollution in the Murray–Darling Basin and the impacts on fish communities

 

The Murray–Darling Basin (MDB) has a lot of dams, and many of them cause cold water pollution (CWP) downstream, as cold water is released to flow downstream from deep in the dam. This study looks at how significant cold water pollution is in the Murray-Darling, and considers the likely impacts on fish, and options to fix the problem.
